       In 2013, I found my sister’s old digital camera. Let’s just say that was the catalyst for me always wanting a camera in my hands. It only took me a few days with that old camera to realize I wanted more. I invested every dollar I had and purchased an awesome camera that I treasure and use to this day.

       Later that year, I signed on with Sports and Lifestyle Unlimited (SLU) Modeling Agency and my career as a model and photographer thrived. It was awe-inspiring to be able to attend a photo shoot as a model while gaining an education from experienced photographers.  I didn’t realize it at the time, but my modeling experiences, from New York to L.A., from Nike to Adidas, and everything in-between allowed me to gain an extensive training as a photographer. These experiences taught me a tremendous amount about photography and helped to mold and sharpen my creative eye.  I began taking photos of the child models who sign on with SLU and still do today. I mean, who could pass up photographing dozens of adorable kids? Plus it really helped me to learn how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera since a photo shoot can be intimidating for kids ( lets be real- for most people!) I have definitely been intimidated while i was on the other end of the camera, so i can certainly relate to how you may be feeling ; but I promise  we will have fun and those pre-shoot jitters will not last long!

    At 20 I married my best friend, Trevor who I am training to become my assistant. My husband has mastered the art of holding my reflector, fixing hair, and carrying around multiple wardrobe changes, he is quite the handy helper ;) I recently got my Bachelors Degree in Business so that one day I can hopefully own and run a photography studio and pursue my passion for photography!
